So he didn't wanna criticize the NRL for something that'd put him off foot with the NRL for broadcast rights, therefore James Bracey would lose his job because th- they wouldn't have the rights, and that's what that was all over. So a lot of the commentators are keeping their mouths shut on things to try and give themselves-- look more favorable to the NRL for a broadcast deal. So yeah. And it's all about entertainment. They're trying to push up entertainment so they can get the best price that they possibly can. I think that come next year, I think it'll be a very different game. And I think it's stupid because I think the NRL's a good enough sport and come far enough that it can stand on its own. You don't need the extra boost of high scores and, you know. But that's what it is. That's what they're trying to do. They're pushing for that broadcast deal sort of shit, so mo- look more advertised, more appealing to the fans and get a bigger deal.
